Who we are

NoBites Abroad ("we") is an independent, reader-supported travel-health site published at no-bites.com. Got a question about how we handle your data? Write to us at contact@tick-wise.com.

What we collect

Email briefings: when you subscribe, we keep your email address and use it for one thing only — sending the destination briefings you signed up for. Your address is never sold, rented, or handed to anyone else.
Analytics: we look at high-level, privacy-friendly numbers (page views, where visitors arrive from) to see which guides are pulling their weight. We don't build profiles of individual readers.

How signups are stored

Your email address lives with Resend, the provider we use to send our mail, who hold it on our behalf. Every briefing we send carries an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to take you off the list at any point.

Affiliate links

Tap a "check price" or shop button and you'll head off to a retailer — Amazon and others — via an affiliate link. The retailer may drop a cookie that credits us with a small commission should you buy. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. None of this adds a cent to what you pay. Cookies

NoBites Abroad sets no tracking cookies of its own. Whatever cookies a retailer places once you leave us are covered by that retailer's own privacy terms, not ours.
